Biography
Matthew Dischinger is a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech, where he researches and teaches in American, U.S. multiethnic, regional, and global Anglophone literatures. Using methods drawn from affect, psychoanalytic, and postcolonial theories, his work examines how literature reimagines the intersections of race, nation, and region. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Virginia Quarterly Review, Mississippi Quarterly, North Carolina Literary Review, Small-Screen Souths: Interrogating the Televisual Archive, Faulkner and the Black Literatures of the Americas, and Race and Displacement: Nation, Migration, and Identity in the Twenty-First Century.
