Agnès Browning

Foreign Languages, Lab Atlanta

Biography

Agnès Browning’s love for foreign languages has given her the opportunity to work in England, Luxembourg, Belgium, France, and in the United States. Before joining Lab Atlanta, Agnès taught upper-level French courses at the Lovett School in Atlanta. Her philosophy of teaching emphasizes the importance of making connections with people from other cultures to better understand the ambiguity and complexity of the world we live in. To do so, Agnès has fostered multiple relationships with francophone partners from local institutions such as Georgia Tech or the Carter Center, and international platforms such as BP Art Exchange at Tate Gallery in London. Through these unique interactions, French journalists, artists, chefs, writers, singers, architects, and scientists have worked closely with her students on complex research questions widening and exploring new horizons while developing a better understanding of French and American cultures.
